This is the second time I have stayed at a Neemrana Hotels property and since its the second time this problem has occurred, I simply had to bring it to the attention of the world at large. The beds at Neemrana hotel properties had dangerous bugs in them on both occassions I stayed with them. My earlier stay was at... more

Book via a travel agent - don't even bother trying to do it online. Be prepared to walk up a lot of stairs. Go only on the weekend, so you won't be totally alone except for the staff. Do not stay there in the winter, as there won't be any heat and there is no hot water. But DO stay... more

Booked here on the advice of friends who live in Delhi. This is located about 2 hours south of Delhi on the way to Jaipur and missed by most tourists. Used by many Indians, diplomatic staff, and resident business people as a weekend retreat from Delhi etc. This is an amazing old restored fort which has been truly preserved from... more

Simply put the Neemrana is fantastic. It has everything if you want a comfortable stay with extravagantly good meals and a setting to die for. My wife and I stayed for a week devoted to a study of Indian literature and tourism. We traipsed all over the grounds and loved every inch. A majestic vision guided the reconstruction of the... more

We stayed at Neemrana Fort-Palace for one night in March. It is one of the oldest heritage resorts in India. The palace is very beautiful and built over 9 levels with five wings. All rooms are decorated in different themes. Our room was Mata Mahal (Palace of the Goddess) and it was huge and comfortable. From our terrace, we had... more

No doubt the place is lovely and views breathtaking. But in winters the place can be as good as hell. It is so chilly and open from all sides. There is no centralised heating. They would provide heat convectors which are good for nothing. No coffee shop, no room service. All the time the only food option is having buffets... more

I will begin by saying that the Fort-Palace itself is really spectacular. There are all sorts of nooks and crannies to explore and no room is the same. It's in the middle of nowhere, and a nice change after the cities of India. The nearby stepwell is very impressive as well, and we took a great (short but intense) hike... more

A really special place. How can you go wrong when you're staying someplace built in the 1400's. The pool is beautiful & the views spectacular. It is not a western type of property - so don't expect to have all the amenities of a typical resort. It's India. Why go to India and not experience the charm and uniqueness that... more

I agree with other reviewers that the reception and service (especially around the pool) at this spectacular hotel are not quite as friendly nor efficient as at other places we stayed - and you certainly need to like climbing and descending steep ramps and stairs. Having said that, it is a very special place. We had booked two rooms: our... more
