After my horrible experience with 'Bel Air Hotel , where I booked online through their 'fake' website, I decided to walk around the island and look for a decent budged hotel myself and I found 'Sun Resort' near the Avallon Beach, not to mention that was even cheaper than the hoorible experience with Bel Air. We just returned from a holiday in Mahe and the Sun resort. The hotel is a nice surprise. Our room was very big and very clean and so was cthe bathroom. its not a five star hotel, but it has its own attraction. clean and comfortable and friendly located near the beach, supermarkets, internet site and etc. went to the nearby hotels which were supposedly rated better, but didnt think so at all. unfriendly, dirty and food was dreadful. but they are right on the beach. if you want to pay... more

We spent a very enjoyable week in a self catering room which consisted of a double bedroom with ensuite shower room, a sitting area with television and a kitchenette with small oven and fridge with ice box.
