The Service that we received from this hotel was definatley ' Best In Class' we have been to some amazing hotels but the service here cannot be faulted. The staff are truly passionate about looking after there guests. The Food in Le Terresse Restaurant was amazing you can have an 8 course meal most evenings. All food is freshly prepared... more

Arriving at Le St Geran, after a 12 hr flight cramped in the back of a 99% full Virgin flight, it has to be good. And indeed it is, in many ways. The location cannot be beaten; the staff are just as helpful and charming as expected; the gardens and grounds are beautiful. The rooms, shortly scheduled for a refurb,... more

Beautiful hotel, service great & rooms big. If you stay on ground floor your doors open up & you can walk straight onto beach. Breakfast is great make sure you get that in your package,as the food is quite expensive as everything is in euro. There are 3 restaurants, they have the best indian we ate there several times for... more

This was our 3rd trip to Mauritius. Both of the previous stays were at the Taj Exotica which was fantastic. This time we went away with our two year old and 8 month old baby. We debated the Le Touessrok as an alternative but given that it recently lost its one and only status we thought safer to go with... more

The St Geran is a fabulous hotel. Location, service, facilities. It is a true 5 star establishment. Everyone is made to feel like a special guest, the attention to detail is outstanding. The manager arranged dinner under the stars for my birthday with our own chef and waiting staff - truly wonderful. This hotel thinks of everything. The beach is... more

Stayed at Le Saint Geran for two weeks, late Nov/early Dec 2007. We were hugely disappointed with it - to the point that we almost contacted our travel agent to try to move hotels. We had high hopes on arrival, having stayed at the O&O in the Maldives last year. This O&O in no way measured up. It is a... more

Service superb The staff at this hotel would literally do anything they could to fulfil our expecations. Unlike some chain hotels (particularly in the US and Caribbean) the service ethic was warm and genuine, not simply delivered in order to hover for a tip. Nothing was too much trouble (eat what you like, when you like, how you like, even... more

No complaints about the service, facilities or food. Unfortunately we arrived during the cyclone season and the beach was covered in sea-weed with attendant sand-flies. On most days we had to put up with lorries driving along the beach past our room collecting the weed. Towards the end of our stay, our room was broken into whilst we were asleep... more

We have arrived back yesterday from a 10 day stay at the Saint Geran. Our trip was for 2 Adults and 2 Children(18 and 12) I very much agree with previous reviews regarding the service levels at this hotel. All staff knew us all by name and room number within 24 hours of arriving. Booking I booked our rooms with... more

We stayed at Le Saint Geran for a week during our honeymoon. It was a lovely hotel, great rooms, good food and friendly staff but it was soooo expensive that you couldn’t enjoy all the hotel had to offer (unless, of course, you were a millionaire). We used to have a large breakfast and skip lunch (usually we had a... more
