I made a reservation at Renaissance Hotel on 11 April, and cancelled on 21 April for a business trip in May. Unfortunately they had a "No Refund" policy attached to the booking therefore have charged £1,679.00 for a 2 night stay in May and refuse to refund. To add insult to injury I asked if I could change the booking... more

I happened to read all the reviews concerning Renaissance Hotel posted on this site after having already booked the hotel and was not expecting too grand a welcome... I booked this hotel directly, so my hubby and I can have 4 days away from the kids. I was really worried about the visas. I should not have worried. The staff... more

Oh my, Moscow has become really, really expensive. We paid EUR 300 per room per night (without breakfast) for a comfortable but unremarkable hotel room suitable for business travellers. The hotel is not centrally located at all so does not automatically appeal to tourists (I guess). We were there only because our company had chosen it as a meeting venue.... more

Paid $795 a night for this hotel since all hotels were sold out. The room was on par with an average Holiday Inn and just above the likes of Travelodge/IBIS etc. The size of the room was tiny. Housekeeping did not clean the room automatically and there was a hair in the food ordered through the room service. The frontdesk... more

Beautiful hotel with a comfortable bed and many choices of pillows and towels. It is located in the precinct of the 1980 Olympics but not within walking distance of Red Square. However, when we were there, they had recently started a shuttle bus that ran hourly after 4pm to and from Pushkin Place (near Tverskaya Street - a shopping precinct)... more

Just returned from a business trip to Moscow where I stayed at the Renaissance for 2 nights. This was my second stay in this hotel, which I generally like. The hotel is a bit outside the city centre but the metro is reletively close by (10-15 minutes walk) - the hotel also provides a free shuttle bus to/from the city... more

This is a top-notch hotel in every aspect except one--I would HIGHLY recommend you not use the room phones in the hotel, especially if you are calling the U.S. or outside of Moscow. The U.S. long distance rate was an insane $10.00 a minute. I did not realize this until it was time to check out and had a $50.00... more

Recently stayed here on business. Room was comfy and breakfast was superb. But this is very expensive, the reception tried to charge me for two nights when I was only there for one, and it is not only a long way from the centre it is also a sturdy walk to the nearest metro. I have found the Baltschug Kempinski... more

I would like to say a big thank you to all the Management and Staff at Renaissance Moscow. Prior to arrival I sent many emails to the Reservations Department - a big thank you (I wont embarass anyone by naming names but they know who I am talking about). The staff in the Executive Lounge, you were always there with... more

I spent over 100 nights during the last 3 years in Renessainse and I can tell that it is one of the best hotel of its league around the world. Clean , secure , efficient. The drawback is location - it is a little bit of the center - the resteranuts and shops are 10 mins of walking. Central moscow... more
