Fine for business, felt secure, plenty of security people around. Paulanger bar was good with Munchen beer brewed in house. Only got WLAN in lobby, will stay again on my next trip. Rooms very typical of business hotels. All receptionists spoke good english and/or french. more

We used this hotel for a worldwide compitition and had approx 300 guests. The hotel was ok but dated, Nice photos of the pool, but you have to pay to use it (approx £20 per hour) and its cold! The Pulenger Resturant was busy and a good atmosphere but the food was always warm to cold - too much effort... more

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of a tour & found it very comfortable. especially after staying in the Comos in Moscow. Standard twin with tea/coffe maker, fridge, robes & slippers. Very good selection at breakfast & we too did the Cossack show £15 pp. but very good. more

After just leaving the Park Inn in Sweden (which was wonderful and clean), I expected somthing similar in russia... but not at all!! Everything smells like cigarette and cigar smoke (even though we asked for non-smoking rooms), most of the staff are clueless about simple things like where is the breakfast, the service was slow and they kept trying to... more

Overall magnificent hotel. Only real dissapointment was the lack of hairdryers already in the rooms, after I'd read many sites saying that there would be one. 5 minute walk to Metro station, which is then 6 stops from Nevsky Prospekt, great for shopping. Should definitely check out the blini house (chainaya lojka) for a cheap but satisfying lunch. Would love... more

I was in a tour to Moscow and Saint Petesburg in 4 star Hotels. In Moscow I stayed in the Mezhdunarodnaya Hotel and was much much better than this one. In any case the Pulkovskaya can be rated as 4 stars as you see in the building and as the travel agency sold to us. At the most a 3... more

Stayed here for 5 days. Felt like I was in an old casino hotel in Reno, NV, not Russia. Small room with twin beds. No hair dryer, no Kleenex and cardboard-like T.P. The included breakfast was consistently marginal and cold to lukewarm. Tables were always dirty with minimal dining help. Rap music in the dining area. Front desk staff friendly.... more

I stayed there for 9 days. It is a little out of the way, but the Metro\Subway is right down the street. There is a Pizza Hut and McDonalds nearby. The breakfast was nice and included in the price of the room. The desk people spoke good English. They provided free transportion to\from the city center. My room was $110... more

The hotel was brilliant. Food was excellent & service was good. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Not much English spoken here though.. you will need more than a smattering of Russian to make yourself understood. There is a theatre in the hotel. When we stayed there they had a local Cossack dance troupe put on a performance. The dancers were... more
