I agree with most reviewers. Hotel was clean, rooms were fine but nothing special. Lobby unattractive, food unexciting, just adequate. It is not centrally located. I am a travel agent and went on a self organised educational to Russia. The Andersen Hotel was offered to me via a local tour operator in Cape Town who in turn booked it through Intourist. We stayed 4 nights and were very pleased with the helpful service provided by the reception staff. They gave us information on how much we should pay for taxis, telephone cards etc. The rooms/bathrooms were clean and well presented proving to be good value.
