I had only a day in Kyoto and will return. This hotel is well located with excellent restaurants and so convient to the train station. I stayed on the Japanese Rail Pass rate and was very pleased with the accommodations and treatment by the staff. Highly recommend more

Excellent hotel set in the uber-building that is Kyoto station (with 3 shopping malls attached...). Rooms were clean, comfortable and well-furnished. The location is un-beatable, especially if you're considering doing day-trips from Kyoto. Breakfast buffet and room service were both very good. Service was efficient and friendly. This is a very modern hotel connected to the main train station. Very convenient if you fly into Nagoya's new airport and take the bullet train to Kyoto. This hotel is a great base for touring as it sits right on the Kyoto station hub of trains and buses (including the Shinkansen bullet train and a direct rail link to Narita airport).
