I'm in two minds about this place. First off lets point out that it's fairly cheap, it's close to the station, and it solved the problem for us of how to accommodate a family of four at an affordable price. We stayed on the 5th floor, with 2 bedrooms, a toilet, shower, bath. As a Japanese ryokan, you get mattresses... more

Basic but very clean. Handy to station and shops. Quiet. Host even drove us to Kyoto Station, with luggage, as it was raining. Staying again October 2006. more
