We stayed with Ms. Uemura for a few days in January and had a wonderful time. She is the sweetest and most kind lady. The location is fantastic. Quiet and still close to everything you want to experience in Kyoto. We will stay with Ms. Uemura again whenever we have the chance. A truly great place to stay. more

This ryokan has only 3 rooms so please book in advance to avoid dissapoinment. We stayed for 2 nights. Located in the quiet and nice small alley, near Yasui bus stop. You can not beat this location or Mrs. Uemura's incredible hospitality. Steps from 500 year old temples and in the heart of Kyoto's historical center, this was one of the more amazing places I have ever visited.
