The hotel can be reached underground from the station, by heading to Avanti department store, then taking the elevator in the left corner. Stayed here for 3 nights this August. A convenient location within walking distance of the massive Kyoto train station. The hotel is on the South side of the Kyoto train station so you will have to cut through the station to go to the bus terminals and main sites.
