Stayed there as recommended by someone as a boutique type hotel. Well that it certainly ain't! Good location, just by Times Square though! We booked an E-room via their website for around £60-70 (~400 MYR). It said it came with free internet but it didn't and they wouldn't budge. However the room and bed were large (~30m2, king size) and... more

My second trip to this hotel was marred by bad service and lousy room at the Melia KL. The hotel is conveniently located next to the Imbi Skytrain station and across from Times Square shopping mall - these are about the only good things I could say about this hotel. I booked a "I-room" for 2 nights which has free... more

Upon checkin witnessed a disagreement between a guest and reception over double billing did not seem to be well resolved As we were departing early the next morning before normal buffet breakfast hours I asked if we could have our included breky on the morning we arrived this was refused as being against hotel policy. All in all the staff... more

Check in was a little messy. Aircon didnt work in the room allocated to us. However the manager upgraded us to the next better room. Room was okay The best part about this hotel is the buffet breakfast spread! Its an amazing one!Though this is a four star hotel, the breakfast appears to be of five star standards, Another great... more

we have stayed 3 times at the Melia Kuala Lumpur, all 3 times booked via AGODA and that will be the last time too! AGODA seems to sell the unaware customer rooms straight from hell! there is no point in complaining to the MELIA MANAGEMENT or to AGODA as you never hear back from them + nothing will improve! the... more

We just stayed at the Sol Melia, KL. It is a nice hotel, a bit old and tired at places but is being renovated. Our room was clean and one of the renovated ones. The hotel is right across from Times Square Mall and close to the skyway Monorail. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Check in and overall... more

I stayed at the Hotel Melia in Kuala Lumpur for 9 nights from 10 March 2008. I chose the Melia due to it's location, and I was not disappointed. Surrounded by shopping centres and with a Monorail stop literally just outside the hotel, the Melia is the perfect base for a KL shopping/dining/exploring holiday. The hotel itself is a little... more

Clean room but very basic. Dirty windows. Breakfast buffet was large, but pretty standard food. Stayed there for 2 nights, I dont think I'll ever go back, there, though. more

booked the hotel room via Internet; manage to get confirmation very quickly. upon check-in, i ask for reservation of room for another night of extension; i was told that the rates that it's the hotel regulation and policy that I must pay according to the rack price! which is more than 100% extra! may I say that the hotel management... more

I stayed here for 2 nights on a business trip. I would give Melia KL a low 3-star rating. The location is fantastic - central and within the "Golden Triangle" area. It's across from Berjaya Times Square shopping mall and next to the Imbi Skytrain station. You walk 5-7 minutes to Bukit Bintang. I got one of those iRoom with... more
