I stayed at the Dorsett with my husband for 4 nights. We wanted a mid price hotel within walking distance of the city centre. The room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was great, transfers were on time and reliable; we had no problems. more

An amazing honeymoonI stayed at the Dorsett with my husband for 4 nights. We wanted a mid price hotel within walking distance of the city centre. The room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was great, transfers were on time and reliable; we had no problems. more
I travelled to the Dorsett Regency on a work trip- and to be honest I was a little disappointed when I found out where I had been booked. This is not normally the type of hotel I would stay at, so I didn't have terribly high expectations. However, I was pleasantly surprised. (Apart from the fact that I was in... more
The best thing abt this hotel is its proximity to Starhill Gallery and the new Pavilion shopping centre, as well as to lesser shopping malls such as Lot 10 and Sungei Wang. Our room was not ready when we arrived, so we left our luggage with the concierge and went shopping at Starhill Gallery for a bit. Upon our return... more
we have recently returned from a three week tour of Malaysia, Our first stop in KL took us to the Dorsett Regency. It was central as in the golden triangle, clean tidy, good food and fantastic staff, especially Fida in the bar who made our evenings fun. I would definately recommend more
We arrived at Dorsett at around 7am. We were already anticipating walking around Bukit Bintang and going back by lunch to have ourselves checked in. To our suprise, our room was already ready. Our room was big by normal "not so 5 star hotel" hotel standards. It comes with a flat screen TV, huge bathroom, omplimentary toiletries and towels and... more
Very pleasant stay here. The staff were happy to take the time to explain walking routes to me even though of course they are all geared up to send you out in limos and taxis. I appreciated this as often those who like to walk are considered odd by the staff of larger hotels (which is why I usually prefer... more
This hotel is just okay. It wasn't anything special but nice enough for a mid level hotel. However, the staff wasn't very helpful. At times I had a hard time calling the front desk and only received turn down service one of the two nights I stayed. The hotel also charged too much for a taxi to the airport. The... more
First stayed at the Dorsett in 2004, then in 2005, 06,& 07, I keep going back there as its quite good value and in the triangle, not to far from any location , I have always found that the staff are quite good and anything you ask for if they are able to do it , it is done, the... more
My family and I have just returned from a stay at the Dorsett Regency. We were there for one week from 13th - 20th December 2007 and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. My family consisted of myself - the mother, plus 3 daughters and one adult grand daughter. The purpose of our trip was to shop, see Kuala Lumpur,... more
We stayed here for 2 days when we first arrived in Malaysia and it was a fantastic place to acclimatise and get used to the place. We were given a suite on the 27th floor which we thought was a mistake first of all, but when we saw the fantastic view from the room, overlooking the Petronas towers and the... more
