Stayed several nights in a club room in the new west wing. Good service, great breakfast, nice club lounge room. Staff very friendly. Close to the monorail, just two stations to the city center. A walking distance to Hard rock cafe, TG friday and the night club area. Walking distanced to the twin towers and the Surria gallery. It is... more

In April this tear we stayed here with 2 other couples. Having stayed in some beautiful hotels throughout Asia over 28 years we know what to expect from a 5 star hotel. The Renaissance is a beautiful hotel and the pool must be one of the best in K.L but in order to claim a 5 star rating there are... more

My impression of this hotel was negative straight from the get-go. I booked a 3-night stay through my travel agent on a Cathay Pacific package deal. I was given special hotel vouchers and was expressly told to hang on to them, as they would be my proofs of purchase and will be needed upon checkin. Well, upon checking in, I... more

Stayed at the Renaissance (East Wing) for 11 nights, here are the Pro's and Con's: Pro's first: - Great view of the Petronas Towers. - Good service, though the front desk got my bookings wrong initially. - Very close to the monorail. - Most beautiful pool, possibly the best and the biggest in KL. - Children friendly, did not charge... more

I stayed in this Renaissance hotel (west wing) for 5 days, in June 2008. After a long trip from Greece, I arrived in the hotel at 11.30 a.m. My room was not ready, but it was after a few minutes. At this time they offered to me a complimentary drink in the lobby bar. My room was on 22nd floor,... more

We stayed at the Renaissance for one night on the last leg of our Borneo adventure and I have to say it finished off our trip wonderfully. The hotel entrance is extremely impressive i.e., marble columns, huge chandeliers and my husband counted at least 25 staff just in the foyer /reception. On checking in we were asked if we would... more
