“Should I Stay The Next Time In Kuala Lumpur?”

Just came back from a stay in Sri Petaling Hotel. The hotel receptionist did not allow me to check in before 2 pm though it is not a peak period and there are rooms available. When I managed to check in after that. Oh gosh when I opened the hotel door some weird smell start coming out from the room.... more

The lobby looks promising. Front of hotel is also nice looking. But as others have said, the rooms are smelly. The carpets have hundreds of spots and the corridors and rooms are smelly. Yes This is truely the most [--] hotel i have had the misforune to stay in. Dirty, smelly. Read the reports and you get lured in by the "Asian charm and romance". But check in after a 15Hr Flight at 10:00pm in the evening, Holly [--]!!! Taps leak, toilet jsut passable, bedding (thats a laugh), unclean. Tell me whats the... more

We have just returned from a week from Kuala Lumpur. We were so convinced by the pictures through internet and we know that this hotel is built because of the commonwealth games held in Bukit Jalil. Excellent location, close to some shopping and MANY restaurants. Best location for getting to know the local culture as it was not a tourist trap destination. Rooms were clean and spacious. Huge buffet style breakfast included in price. more
