This is the hotel in which I usually stay while in Manila (although it is usually booked up unless you make your reservations several days in advance). It is nothing exceptional, but it is a good value and I particularly like its location. more

An amazing honeymoonThis is the hotel in which I usually stay while in Manila (although it is usually booked up unless you make your reservations several days in advance). It is nothing exceptional, but it is a good value and I particularly like its location. more
The contractor who is renovating the hotel arranged for us to get two rooms for the price of one 2,500pesos each room instead of the 5000 pesos per room. My sister and her husband stayed in the adjoining, while I stayed in the other room. I would compare this hotel to be an EconoLodge in the US, not Crowne Hotel... more
This hotel is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in 30 years of business travelling with regard to staff attitude and hotel facilities. We were in Manila interviewing applicants for overseas contracts and on occasions we had to see an applicant in the hotel. The Hotel does not have any lobby seating. There are no seats whatsoever in the... more
We stayed here because it is across the street from the American Embassy. Very convenient. Overall, it was a good solid place to stay. Everything worked. It is however a Philippine hotel and so it is not quite up to Marriot standards. The location is great if you want to be by the embassy or close to Intramuros. If you... more
I have been into this hotel for almost 3 years (twice a year) and have not encuntered any problems except for some "not so friendly or masungit" staff until my recent stay (May 2008) where upon check-out, I was shocked that I have been billed for about PHP600+++ and that's for telephone charges alone!!!! And it's not even a mobile... more
Rooms old and quite dirty, the walls are super thin, must be made of cardboard! so you can hear any sound from the adjacent rooms. Staff not particularly friendly and the longest check-in time of any hotel in Manila (i've ever stayed in on 3 occasions so not a fluke!) Was told immediately on checking in and in front of... more
First stay at this hotel. Selected it because of the location (Ermita/Malate, across Rojas Blvd. from US Embassy) and was not disappointed ... 8th floor room offered great Manila Bay sunset views! Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Lobby and other public areas are impressive. Included buffet breakfast was excellent (fresh fruit and juices, Filipino/Asian choices, and western fare). Staff,... more
The room was aged but clean. The desk said there was coffee in the room but only hot water heater and tea bags. But there is a 24 hour Chow King Restaurant just 50 feet up the street. The hall smelled from fresh paint and insecticide, but the room was OK. Nice pressure and hot water for showers. Friendly staff.... more
ever wonder why there are many complaints regarding this hotel? the bathrooms, carpets, unfriendly staff, etc. we spoke to a staff last june '07 and told us that he just came from the office of the hotel HR assistant olive aguinaldo and just got shouted at! Much to our dismay, while surfing the tripadvisor site today, no wonder this hotel... more
My biggest impression of the Bayview Park Hotel was "greed". The people there were not interested in making our stay enjoyable - they wanted to part us from as much of our money as possible. For example, before we arrived, the hotel recommended a van (not a car) from the airport for my family of four at an additional cost.... more
