Our room rate for a Hojo DQ was $69.99. I could have stayed at the Sheraton across the street for $80. We decided to stay at the Hojo, because they had breakfast...which isn't worth it. Don't stay here, pay the extra money and buy a box of cereal. This hotel was old, dirty, noisy, and not worth the rate. If... more

Stay away from this one. Wow, this hotel was disgusting. If you stay here, expect your car to be broken into (and expect the management not to care, they'll just point to a sign that states they're not responsible). The room: Cigarette burns in the bed spread (supposed to be a non-smoking room), mold/mildew growing on the walls, holes in... more

I don't even no where to begin. Carpet in room had stains everywhere and holes in it, revealing the concrete underneath!!! had to ask for clean towels. Maid service didn't pick up or empty trash. Had no extra pillows available. Rooms reeked of smoke and mildew! The manager was NEVER in. (we were there 5 days!) Doors did not shut... more

This is the best Howard Johnson I've stayed at. Although the room had an odor to it when I arrived, it was easily removed by a splash of my body spray. The room was clean and had a large balcony. I've stayed at a few other Howard Johnson's and this one has been the best so far. I would recommed... more

This was the worst experience with a hotel I have ever had. The desk manager was the rudest lady I have ever dealt with and I could never get a hold of the general manager, he was conveniently always in a "meeting". They messed up my reservations and tried to to make me pay for a no show. I would... more

My husband, two children and I stayed here for one night, trying to make our visit to Six Flags and Huricane Harbor easier, but it was horrible!!! It was the dirtiest place I have ever seen! When booking the hotel, I looked on line first and it stated that the hotel had been renovated in 2004. There is no possible... more

This hotel is a mess. The toliet did not flush right, the remote was broken, there were no bottom sheets on the bed and they slid. The staff was not helpful and all in all it was a terrible experience. more

We had the misfortune of staying at Howard Johnson's near Six Flags earlier this month. If this hotel was not surrounded by several major attractions, it would haved been out of business long ago. It has a very high usage rate so the hotel is very worn, (carpet, etc). Room was dingy and nothing special. Foreign managament has absolutely no... more
