This hotel has good points and bad points: The room itself is fairly spacious and clean/comfortable. No complaints at all -- but nothing special. Good value for the price. No small fridge. They have a shuttle to the Metro stop, so it's convenient to get into DC. Metro costs $1.75 each way during peak. We stayed on July 3 and... more

Check-in was fast, and I was pleasantly surprised by our room, but to be truthful I wasn't expecting much. It was sparkling clean, quite modern, and spacious, with a pull-out love seat and coffee table. King bed was really comfortable. Bathroom was also great- really large, with lots of counter space. Also exceptionally clean. A few things I really liked:... more

This hotel was really nice with just a couple of exceptions. The free shuttle to the Metro was convienient and relatively prompt. The pool was nice. The rooms were clean and comfortable. My only complaint was that there was no tourist information in the lobby and the front desk workers were understaffed. There was nearly always a line at the... more

We frequently stay at Courtyard properties while on business travel and rarely do we have a negative experience. We enjoyed our stay at this particular location due to its location, service, and friendly staff. I was a little concerned about it being so close to the airport and feared hearing air traffic noise but alas all was quite. The front... more

We stayed at this hotel after our first choice, Marriott Crystal City, was unavailable. We rode the Marriott shuttle from the airport to the hotel. Prompt & clean. Too early to check in, so we check ed our bags and took the shuttle to the Metro. After some sightseeing and lunch we took the Metro back to Crystal City. They... more

I have stayed at many Marriotts before and of all the places, this was my worst experience. Don't get me wrong, the hotel itself is very nice at a good location, but I'm not too crazy about the service and the comfort. First of all, the bed was hard and uneven. No matter what I did, I just could not... more

Layover for a canceled flight. Crystal City would rarely be anyone's first choice unless your flight was canceled or you had a convention there. The location is fine for it's proximity to DC (hotel is not far from Crystal City Metro stop), but otherwise there is little reason to leave the hotel. Crystal City is what I imagine the first... more

A good place deserves a good review. This place was darn near perfect. (With one big exception.) I stayed here 8/28-30 on business. It is almost immaculate. The rooms were clean, the bathrooms appeared new or renovated (caulk looked fresh, no mold, no cracked tile, no stains). The bed was absolutely awesome. Probably the most comfortable bed I have ever... more

My daughter and I travelled to the DC area for the first time for a Memorial event the weekend of May 19th. We had a group staying at the Courtyard Marriott so we booked there because the hotel offered a special rate for us. I had read the reviews from TripAdvisor stating this site was pretty noisy and not really... more

I was very happy with my stay at the Marriott Courtyard. With my AAA discount, it was the best deal I could find in the DC area after factoring in parking and internet access. Parking was $12/night in an two story underground garage. The parking garage is only accessible through a elevator separate to the elevator that serves the rooms,... more
