We stayed at the Mosquito Blue for our honeymoon in January. First of all, Jeri is an excellent place - the sand-dunes, sunset, people, capoeira dancing, beach, etc make this place wonderful and definately worth a visit. We started off quite badly in fact by getting a std room despite our agent having reserved (and confirmed twice) that we´d have... more

Jericoacoara, with its rolling sand-dunes and turquoise waters, is as close to perfect as any holiday destination could offer. Unfortunately, the rude, unfriendly and generally ineffective staff at the Mostiquito Blue hotel tarnish the experience. I recommend staying at one of the Brazilian Pousadas nearby rather than this beautiful but fatally flawed hotel more

Had the most wonderful stay here and would definitely recommend the hotel to others. It is not the classic Pousada accommodation which can be a little hit or miss. Instead it offers a high-end hotel that is well designed, clean and offers a wide range of services. My only complaint would be the service which really lets the place down.... more

It's too expensive , certainly. The staff can be ineffectual, often, but it is the only hotel in Jeri with all the amenities. Glass windows, air co, on the beach, swimming pool and pretty landscaping. You can't get all of these things at another hotel (though the vila kalango might come close minus the glass on the windows.) It is... more

the best thing of the mosquito blue is that in this fisherman village among an oasis in the middle of nowere you find a small resort that seems an oasis in the oasis. You can percieve the attencion on the detail in any place ,very clean ,very secure, very frendly,we don't fell like in an hotel becouse after two days we already... more

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Mosquito Blue and ended up extending our stay by two additional nights (9 in total). The staff from all of the hotel functions were extremely friendly and helpful both during our stay and the booking process. Only the front desk staff (during non-graveyard shift hours) and the reservation staff are fluent... more

I have been traveling a lot ( for pleasure and work), but the achivement of Mosquito Blue Hotel in the fish village of Jericoacoara has surprised me. Just 8 years ago was a place very hard to reach, without electricity and roads, and now he bears an hotel such Mosquito Blue. Beautiful location, beautiful buldings and rooms well integrated with... more

To be a 3 star yet alone a 4 star hotel (doesn't matter where in the world), one expects some professionalism and basic service standards. Mosquito Blue Jeri is the worst I have seen (and I travel at least 4 months of the year). First of all, most of the service folks/desk people do not speak english and do not... more

I felt i had to write a review in defence of the Mosquito Blue Hotel after reading the previous review titled "European Unfriendliness". I stayed at the hotel October 29th to November 12th which is the busiest time of year when the hotel staff are taking care of their paying customers not people who have not bothered to plan their... more

I must say that I was very disappointed with the extremely unfriendly and arrogant attitude of the Mosquito Blue Hotel in Jericoacoara , Ceara. My husband and I were actually staying at a very pleasant and charming inn called CABANA in that resort and wanted to visit the Mosquito Blue hotel as it seemed to be new and is apparently... more
