This hotel is the best in RIO in my option. I stayed there with my husband and he really enjoyed his time. This hotel as an excellent location Copacobanna Beach; the rooms are large, modern and clean; and the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfasts are very good with a hot buffet. Warning...our experience at Rio Internacional was non-existent! We had confirmed reservations for 5 nights there but did not stay even one night. The problem was the large tour groups which they seem to cater to. When something went awray with tour groups, the hotel moved independent travelers out to other hotels. The Porto Bay Rio International hotel is right on Copacabana beach.
