Stayed at the Renaissance after the Emiliano and Unique, and was disappointed. It was a bit cheaper than the other the hotels, but it lacked the style, personality and the prices for 'extras' were outrageous. R$18 for a small bottle of water, R$25 for 15 minutes of internet access in the business center; R$45 to access the jacuzzi in the... more

Great hotel! Great location. Nice staff. Terrific concierge. About what you would expect from a Renaissance Hotel in the USA. Comfortable and new. Stayed there mid February ’08. I would defiantly stay there again. more

When I have visited Sao Paulo previously I have usually stayed at the Fasano Hotel - a luxury option in the Jardims area. On my most recent trip I decided to ring the changes and stay at the Renaissance Hotel, a little bit closer to the city centre. On balance I think I prefer the Fasano but only because its... more

i would have to agree with the last person who wrote this review. There's not much to do in Sao Paulo. We were on a couple's retreat and had some valuables stolen from the hotel. The hotel management did much of nothing to help us. more

My decision to spend 3 nights in this miserable hotel was based on its reviews that I had read on trip advisor. I travel quite frequently and never take a final decision on a hotel without consulting trip advisor which is why I owe it to its readers to share my horrible experiences at the Renaissance. 1. Lack of peace... more

Staying at the Renaissance was a good experience. The hotel and rooms were spotless and tastefully decorated, with every convenience we needed. Business services and gym facilities were reliable. more

I stay at the Rennaissance regularly when coming to Sao Paulo. I've also stayed at the Unique, Fasano, and Emiliano, which get good reviews, and deservedly so. However, for a non-shi-shi business-friendly hotel with excellent service, I don't think the Rennaissance can be beat. If you're looking for urban hip, then you'll want one of the three boutique-type hotels (i.e.,... more

I have stahed at the Renaissance on a number of occasions and have always found it to be a very pleasant experience on all counts. The hotel is in a great location for whatever you might be getting up to in Sao Paulo, be it business or pleasure. Staff are always welcoming and polite and will always try to do... more

Check-in went smoothly. The host was very gracious and because my room was not yet ready, he asked me if I wanted to use the spa to shower and change. A bellman carried my bag for me and I was able to clean up after the overnight flight. What a difference a shower makes! However, when I came down to... more
