As this is the only hotel on the island, there’s no choice if you want to stay in Mljet. Hotel was built in the seventies and has not really been updated since then. We have just returned from a week at The Hotel Odisej,which we found to be charming and well worth every penny spent. Rooms spotless, Hotel very clean, Staff very helpful, and breakfast good, but dinner almost unedible. Eat out midday and evening. I visited this hotel July 8-10. The place was close to $200 per night. It smelled like fish. The bathrooms were dirty when we arrived. The "double" beds were actually two beds put together.
