An excellent and low key 'resort'. Very laid back with good, well spaced lodges/bungalows which are right on the beach. Although a good beach, the water is not clear due to fine silt which becomes apparent at low tide when the sea is inaccessible across the muddy silt. We spent our second visit to LomLae this winter and enjoyed it just as much as the first. Probably even better as we were more familiar with it. The people that run it were most hospitable and wonderful. The bungalows were even more upgraded than the first trip and made it even more comfortable and relaxing. We just love this... more

Lom Lae is beatifull, no doubt. The beach is also nice and quiet...BUT: The water is not crystal clear in this area. In fact, the visibility is quite poor. To us, this was dissapointing. To others it may not matter at all. more

Very nice bungalow resort on a desert beach. If you want to relax in a n ecological paradise far away from civilization, this is your best option. Amazing view on the Phang Nga bay from your hammock!
