Stayed here for two nights in July 2008. Overall, the reception and hotel staff were helpful and friendly. They had a number of trainee staff who were eager to please. I have stayed now and 2 years ago in this hotel when it was newly reopened and they asked at that time 110.- The top floor and the lobby were than newly renovated. The lift smelled already moldy. this is still the case. Lift with carpet all around will always smell in this climate. The hotel is the former Merlin... more

In August 2007 we enjoyed a pleasant overnight stay on Fraser’s Hill. The drive from Kuala Lumpur would probably take about 2 – 2 ½ hours, but we took our time and made several stops.
