Two years ago I stayed at the old Hotel Fortuna, but the new hotel is completely different, with 44 rooms, 12 accessible to wheelchair users, beautiful rooms and a gorgeous restaurant and reception. A great place when you just need the basics. We had hot showers, somewhat clean accomodations, and quiet. I did have a bat attach himself to my back while staying here, and it took lots of turning in circles, crazy shouts, and such to send the bat off to the rafters. So that was something. more

We stayed here because the price was low but the hotel seemed to be a good deal in a good location. We were severely disappointed. I have stayed here many times. I have also stayed at many local resorts at high multiples of this hotel. The people are very nice. They are not bilingual, but very friendly.
