My wife and I spent 4 wonderful days at Bosque del Cabo this April. We expected to see lots of animal life, but thought we'd be sort of "roughing it." Yes and no :). We stayed in Tucan, which is one of the deluxe cabinas on the edge of the hill facing the Pacific. They are all quite attractively designed... more

My wife and I just returned from a 6-day trip to Costa Rica and Bosque del Cabo was, without a doubt, the best out of the three places we stayed at during our mini vacation. We saved the Osa Peninsula part of our trip for last because we knew it was going to be the best part and it didn't... more

You know you've had an amazing vacation when you are still thinking about it 4 weeks after you have returned. Our stay at Bosque del Cabo was thoroughly researched and absolutely met and exceeded my expectations. It is a gem. We were traveling with my 15 year old daughter and wanted an active interesting vacation. This was our first trip... more

Bosque del Cabo is a beautiful place. The people are extremely friendly and you can see all of the wildlife that you want without leaving the property, In three nights, we saw three types of monkey, coatis, scarlet macaws, peccaries, and fiery-billed aracaris. We also went on a guided nature walk in the evening with the site naturalist, so we... more

Nineteen of us returned last week from a week at Bosque del Cabo and there was nothing but high praise from all. It was my wife's birthday trip and before we knew it all these friends signed on. She and I had the Lapa cabina which was wonderful but all of them are good. We also had both houses. Casa... more

My husband and I spent 5 incredible nights at Bosque del Cabo and we've never had an experience like it. This was our last stop on a 14-day, first-time trip to Costa Rica and it was definitely the best. We had been on a number of guided nature hikes through rain and cloud forests, as well as a boat excursion... more

My wife and I throughly enjoyed our stay with the folks at Bosque dal Cabo. The staff and owners of the lodge spare nothing to make your stay a memorable experience. The lodge has a fulltime very helpful naturalist whos vast knowledge is a must for identifying the abundant wildlife in the area. Our cabina was a little bit a... more

We stayed in Cabina Pizote and Cabina Almendre. Both were faantastic, but Almendre is located in the tropical garden backing up to the rainforest. Nighttime is kind of intimidating with all of the jungle noises. The walk to the restaurant for dinner at 7:00pm is in the dark both ways, you must have a flashlight. It is beautiful there. We... more

Our family of four had a wonderful stay at Bosque del Cabo. We loved the nature, the trails (especially Pacific Trail with it's waterfall, tidepools that turn into natural hot tubs at low tide and natural beauty and the Golfo Dulce Trail (we love the reward of a beach at the end of our hikes!), the food (especially breakfast and... more

We stayed at Bosque for our honeymoon about a year ago, and I can't believe I never wrote a review. We absolutely loved bosque-- such a beautiful, relaxful environment. The wildlife was truly incredible and plentiful. I especially loved the scarlet macaws and toucans everywhere. The food was AMAZING. We would look forward to every meal. The week we were... more
