We stayed at the Westmark Tok overnight as part of our Holland America land-cruise through the Yukon Territories and Alaska. Wow, after days of touring how nice it was to get to the Westmark Inn, Tok. The manager himself greeted us on the bus and welcomed us to his hotel, very nice touch. August, 2004 Recognize Tok is not a teeming metropolis but at the crossroads of some sparsely populated, but lovely & interesting areas. It is truly a "jumping off place". This hotel was supposed to be a one-star hotel - its a half-star at its best. The room isn't clean, the bathroom is tiny. Some of the lights didn't work, the TV didn't work. It is embarrasingly bad. more
