The guest house is located at the end of a several block strip of bars and restaurants. We had no concerns about safety in the area - there was a security guard outside the guest house, and the strip was busy with people. The restaurants and bars are trendy and very reasonably priced. This is a great place to stay in Melville, we had a suite which was self contained, great bathroom and nicely furnished rooms with outside area. The staff were helpful. The location is perfect - on the main street in Melville which has lots of good bars and restaurants and is safe to walk around. I would highly recommend it. more

Great place to stay, large and clean with very good security and location. Near restaurants and bars (just up the road) but far enough to be away from the noise!
