We were travelling along the Garden Route and we had only booked two nights, and it wasn't long enough to work our way through the fantastic restaurant menu (which has an excellent wine list).!!! Hosts Desmond and Johan were so hospitable. They really couldn't do enough for us. Our bedroom had views over the pool deck. It was roomy, nicely... more

This is the second time we have stayed at this lovely guest house. Desmond and Johan were charming and helpful hosts as before. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with every attention to detail. This year has seen the addition of any excellent restaurant with a superb a la carte menu and wine list. We can thoroughly recommend dining there.... more

Spent a week at Cinnamon Boutique. Superb accommodation- a lovely spacious room, beautifully equipped and furnished. We preferred the rooms with a view towards the mountain. The hotel is set far enough away from the N2 so that traffic noise is virtually absent-yet (unlike some places in Wilderness) it is located within the village and thus only a short stroll... more

We have just returned from a fantastic 3 week tour of South Africa and spent the last week on the Garden Route. We chose to spend 4 nights at the Cinnamon Boutique, on the advice of other reviewers, and it lived up to their recommendations. The standard of accommodation and food is superb. The staff are excellent. The owners, Desmond... more

We stayed for three nights in February and had a really relaxing time. Desmond and Johan made us very welcome, the accommodation is lovely and is situated in a peaceful spot amid lush gardens with views of the mountains, just a stone's throw from the magnificent beach. As others have said, the Restaurant was excellent and very good value for... more

Completely agree with all the other reviews. We booked due to what we had read here and I just had to add that it is just as marvellous as you imagine. Probably even better when you get there. Wilderness is lovely itself, it's safe enough to park up and walk around. The beach is breathtaking and safe (not necessarily the... more

The owners Johan & Desmond were perfect hosts and the Cinnamon is a great guest house. The rooms are large, comfortable, immaculate and well appointed. There is a lovely swimming pool area and... more

Just had the pleasure of a 2 night stay at the Cinnamon Boutique. Only problem it was just not long enough! Desmond and Johan the owners designed and built the hotel..it is an absolute credit to them. The attention to detail is incredible.
