This hotel overcharged my credit card and although they acknowledged the mistake have now taken over 6 weeks to rectify the matter despite repeated calls and emails. The staff are inefficient and rude and I would not recommend people to stay there as the hotel shows no concern with customer relations and cannot not be trusted. more

We stayed in the suites and really enjoyed our week there. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, always a smile. The free shuttle to the waterfront was very welcome and the hotel was happy to arrange taxis which are pretty cheap. The breakfast room/restaurant had fantastic views over the sea. The Ambassador sits on the oceans edge of Bantry Bay. Looking over the pool deck all you see is the rocks some few metres below and the atlantic ocean.
