We have stayed at this luxury guest house on several occasions since 2001 the latest in March 2008 and have always enjoyed our stay. The Stringer family who operate and own this guesthouse go out of their way to be helpful giving advice on what to do and not do for the uninitiated without intruding and we have always valued... more

This was my first visit to South Africa and I was absolutely amazed by the lovely surroundings and friendly staff at Glen Avon. They are in the perfect location and it took only a few minutes by car to get to most of our destinations. Our room was spotless and the bathroom was very modern. I have stayed in hotels... more

Glen Avon Lodge is a comfortable guesthouse with large, nicely decorated rooms and beautiful bathrooms. They are recognised locally for their food, so definitely eat there... it's brilliant.
