I stayed in a non-smoking deluxe room on the 5th floor from May 18th to 27th. My room was clean, modern, and spacious. The bathroom had a tub and sink area, a separate large shower, and a separate room with toilet and bidet. The double size beds were on the small side for U.S. guests. My view was Reconquista Street... more

We stayed at the Melia Buenos Aires over Christmas holiday 2006 through the New Year totaling 2 weeks. We were very pleased with the service overall and the price was very economical. Everyone was courteous and responded to our requests promptly. Our only complaint was that the hotel did not notify their international guests that taxi service stops at 9pm... more

REally enjoyed 4 nights over St Patricks weekend. This is a business trip so I booked based on price, location and reading reviews. Everything has gone very well. Decided against the Marriott for higher price and worse reviews. - rooms facing the back in newer section are recommended; this one is more square in size so it feels roomier. Great... more

We were a little wary about booking this hotel due its relatively low TripAdvisor ranking and its very low price ($99. b& b). We would have missed a wonderful opportunity had we given heed to our concerns. This hotel is just wonderful! Excellent location right in the heart of the city, great staff, stunning room with every amenity, lotion, potion... more

If you look for a good location for tourism and a comfortable apartment Melia will fullfill your expectations. If besides that you care for service, just forget Melia! Baggage took more than 30 minute to be delivered in my room during the check in. Wake up call came 20 minutes after the time required, a taxi took 20 min to... more

Excellent hotel in every aspect. Fairly small so rooms can be hard to come by, reserve well in advance. Close to Florida Street and some great restaurants. more

We stayed at the Melia in April of 2006. This hotel is a gem. Our room was very spacious and the hotel staff very polite. The doormen were excellent. The hotel is located close to shopping, the docks, and the main avenue of town. I would stay here again anytime I am in Buenos Aires. more

I stayed at the Melia from February 22-24, 2006. The hotel is centrally located and very nice. It is very clean and modern, plus there is a good sized fitness centre with decent equipment. I would not recommend this hotel based on my own bad experiences. For example, I ordered room service on three ocasions, and each time there was... more
