This was our 4th stay at this hotel over the past years and it's age is now showing. We stayed for 4 nights. Hotel no longer up to the standards of most Residence Inns especially at the price. Hotel has an over powering smell of cleaners, not sure what it is trying to cover up. Air conditioner in the room... more
Lovely and spacious room with kitchen attached. Huge fridge to store yr groceries and microwave oven. Comfortable bed and free internet access in room. Hotel staffs are friendly. Breakfast choice are limited and you'll get sick of the menu after a few days... scramble eggs, pastries, waffles.... but overall a nice experience. more
My husband and I came into town for the Lost Dutchman marathon and decided to stay at a Residence Inn, because we have had good luck with this chain in the past. The Mesa Residence Inn is definitely not on the same level as other Residence Inns. The property is worn and older looking. The rooms are also fairly noisy,... more
The hotel is fair but I must admit the size of the room is good with kitchen and fireplace. The size makes up for the just average room finishing. Seems just like a stopover hotel. Or spillover from the Hilton next door. Although I must say the hotel is near to a mall and electronic store, making it convenient. It... more
My first impressions of this hotel were a front parking lot that was completely full when I arrived around 9 pm, and the apparent lack of even temporary parking for check-in. After finally snatching a parking spot, I was greeted inside by a receptionist who was very apologetic to new arrivals - repeatedly and somewhat unprofessionally - about how long... more
I stayed at the Mesa Residence Inn in August 05 with my family. The property is about 10 years old or so and is beginning to show its age. The rooms were clean, but not super clean. The front desk staff were rude and surly. There were major parking problems at the hotel. No spots were available in their lot... more
We spent our first 2 nights in Arizona at this hotel and so arrived straight from the airport. The front desk was very welcoming and we were given an upgrade. This meant that we had 2 bedrooms to choose from plus a fully equiped kitchen and lounge area - 3 TVs in all. We had no complaints about the hotel... more
I read the previous posts with mixed reviews and decided to try this hotel anyways......it was a horrible experience. Like previous posters no shower matts in the tubs, there was leftover soap in the shower from the previous guest, and the front desk was semi-rude and not helpful. I rarely complain but this hotel was terrible and should be avoided.... more
I stayed at the Residence Inn Mesa on July 12th, and although I was skeptical after reading the most recent postings - I found the hotel and staff/accommodations were above average - spacious, well-maintained. I didn't experience the tub mat issue, as it was in the room when I arrived. The staff, particularly Matt & Briste, were service oriented -... more
