An amazing honeymoon
Young singlesI stayed here in February 2008 with a large group of friends and loved it! The views from the outside terraces of the lake and surrounding mountains were breathtaking, and I liked the fact that we were not right in town. (That said, it's dangerous to walk the narrow road and taxis are relatively expensive, but one trip into town,is... more
We loved our stay at Villa Huinid. We spent 8 days in Bariloche this last week, in one of the Cabins (Ebano), excellent view of the lake. The only but, (there is allways a but, but minor) is that the one on top of us did not have a carpet, so you could listen to the walk steps. For the... more
Don't stay at Villa Huinid. Despite the location, great view of lake, the service is very bad. Do not book a cabana, like a condo below the hotel, on top of road, very noisy all day and night. The main hotel rooms are pretty spartan, and the price is high, so value is very low. There are many other places... more
I had tried to book a cottage at Villa Huinid over the christmas period, but they were completely full, they offered us an apartment in the hotel. When we arrived and saw the apartment we asked to change rooms, it was extremely hot as it was built into the roof and there was no airconditioning. They cheerfully moved us to... more
My husband and I stayed here during our 4 week skiing holiday. We stayed in a cabin for approx. 2 weeks. We decided to spend our first 2 weeks in town and relax out of town for the next 2 weeks. The property is approx. 3km out of town (or 8 peso for a remis). The bus to Cathedral mountain... more
My husband and I just got back from a five night stay at the Villa Huidid and we loved it. In fact, I think it's one of the nicest places I've ever stayed. We booked a one bedroom cottage, with a kitchen, grill, fireplace, and one and a half bathrooms. The bedroom was lovely, as was the master bath. The... more
Our family of 4 adults stayed here in mid Oct, just as spring was arriving - snow still on the hills. The view across the lake was fabulous. We stayed in one of the chalets (small house!) in the grounds of the hotel. It was well equipped, warm and cosy. Each morning the super efficient and friendly cleaners came and... more
This is a great hotel, very comfortable with excellent staff to help plan your day. The hotel is very modern and room well presented. The gym, internet room, swimming pool and spa are all excellent. Could have no complaints about the breakfast either. more
Having stayed at the Llao Llao on two previous occasions, we were disappointed to find the hotel closed the week we visited. However, disappointment turned to delight with our outstanding stay at the Villa Huinid. Traveling as a family, we opted for one of the cottages. We stayed in a two-bedroom cottage that boasted spectacular and breathtaking views across the... more
