My favorite place to stay in America, for so many, many reasons! Whenever there has been a problem, the Hermosa Inn has fixed it. The pool is SO perfect in the hot, hazy days of Arizona heat. Great service; the breakfasts are to die for (and free!), and dinner at Lon's is incredible. The rooms are quaint, and if flawed,... more

Wow. We did not stay here but ate at their very pricey restaurant. The food was fabulous. However it was marred by the horrible service. When we arrived for an 8:00 PM dinner, the front desk clerk was telling a very detailed story to some guest and had us stand for at least five minutes before he acknowledged our arrival.... more

We booked the Hermosa Hideaway package with a King bed for New Year's Eve 2007. Our troubles began upon check in. We checked in and were shown to our room and were immediately surprised and upset to find a Queen sized bed and no fireplace. A week prior to our stay, we specifically emailed the hotel to inquire about fireplaces.... more

The Hermosa has a beautiful property - outside is well maintained and attractive - although the weather was not conducive to using the pool or hot tub. We were in a hacienda suite - with a huge living/dining room, "cosy" bedroom, kitchenette - and impossibly small bathroom. It was barely 6'x6' - with a tub that was too small to... more

We stayed here for only 1 night as a planned flight layover on our way to Los Cabos for the rest of our vacation. My wife chose this hotel based on some book reviews. I can't say enough about it. It is only a quick 15 minutes or so from the airport, but from inside you would think you were... more

We stayed at the Hermosa Inn for two nights in July. We were on business for my husband's job. The inn is charming and the room was adorable. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. more

Decor in our room was well-used and tired looking. Not many extras for such an expensive hotel. Pool area didn't have enough umbrellas for such a sunny climate, was not kept stocked with towels, and glasses and dishes would pile up on tables for hours before being removed. The housekeeping crew did a good job once they came, but were... more

This little hotel has such promise, but fails in so many ways. Rooms are not very well kept, are small, and not very comfortable. It is an old property so I understand that maintenance can be an issue...but if you advertise as being a luxury property, you should have worked on all these little things. Service was among the worst... more

Nice room with old plumbing. Supposed to be renovated this winter. Maids are incompetent. E.g. towels in toilet, condum in fireplace, dirty towels removed, but not replaced. Dirty dishes were left in the room.. They badly need to supervise the housekeepers. The physical setting is lovely and the resort is very relaxing. Staff is helpful and competent. Price is exceptional... more

My wife and I stayed for two nights mid-week. We were pleased with our hacienda suite, and the grounds are spectacular. Wish I could say the same about the lazy and unprofessional staff. Couldn't have been less helpful or more discourteous. Had no suggestions for dinner, other than Lon's, and seemed annoyed when asked for guidance on the area. Really... more
