The resort is absolutely gorgeous. However, much to my dismay, we found several extremely large cockroaches in our room. Upon bringing this to the front desk manager, he smirked and said "well they are smaller cockroaches than what I have seen in Chicago." We stayed at the Gainey Suites Hotel and it was great. If you have kids, this is the place in Scottsdale. The two room suites are clean, comfortable and having a full kitchen for lunch or dinner with kids is wonderful. You won't have to worry about breakfast because a huge buffet is included, from cereal to pancakes , etc.... more

Good location, close to everything. Clean, good daily service. Friendly. Mostly oriented for elderly people. Adequate breakfast and 'happy hour' menu. Travelocity description was not correct - no tennis courts, very small fitness room. Don't like the beds - too soft, looks very nice but you sleep like in hammock. more

This hotel was OK, that is the best way to describe it. There was nothing special. If you are looking for a nice spa getaway in Arizona...this is not the place to be. The beds were comfortable but otherwise it was just a place to stay. more

Great location, clean, surprisingly good continental breakfast, cocktail hour with beer and wine complimentary every night, nice courtyard with pool. Definately not the Ritz but for the price you can not beat it. Best of all the staff were very friendly and competent. more
