I've stayed in hotels around the world, and although I don't usually, I felt compelled to sit down and write a review for the Camelback Inn. This hotel is top notch. I've been treated with nothing but respect and appreciation. I've experienced a level of service that is above and beyond American standards. Outside of the USA, travelers who select... more

I stayed at the Camelback Inn while in town for business in late June. Normally, I wouldn't have been able to book a swanky joint like this when travelling for work, but at $116/night, it was priced right. At those rates, it's good value for money, and for that price I would happily return! Pros: very professional, helpful staff. Room... more

The buildings are cute and the I really appreciate the size of the property. It is not a mega resort. There was quite a bit of remodeling going on during our visit . I wish I had waited to try this property because I will try a different resort on my next visit There are so many and a few... more

We've stayed at several resorts in Scottsdale area and by far I liked this one the most. I'm quite picky and found my stay awesome. Here's some things to consider: What was great? -Room was large with frig and microwave. We were on top floor so it had a balcony. -Got room service every morning (breakfast) which was always hot... more

Stayed at the Camelback inn for Father's day and had a very nice time. We live in the Phoenix Area and have stayed at quite a few of the resorts in town (Princess, Sanctuary, Phoenician, etc). It didn't knock our socks off, but were able to get a really good rate of $129/night, so felt like at that price it... more

We stayed at the Marriott Camelback May 24 - May 30, 2008 using Marriott Reward Points. We were surprised that there was a special for only 10,000 more points than the Residence Inn for the 6 nights. As Marriott Timeshare owners, we always stay at Marriott's and the Camelback was absolutely wonderful. At first we were concerned about the ongoing... more

The resort is sprawling which is very nice. You still have a sense of seclusion eventhough the place is booked. The rooms were great. The bathroom was small but that is not really a complaint. Staff was very helpful. Would stay here again. more

My husband and I stayed for the first time for a week at the Camelback and loved it. Several workers told us the construction has now been scheduled for completion by this September (lobby and 2 restaurants). However, we had a room close to the pool and you could not hear a sound. You can see the trucks to the... more

My husband and I stayed at the Camelback Inn over Memorial Day weekend. Some of the reviews here worried us, and we thought it might be overrun on a holiday weekend. But we had a really great experience. First off, we got a great deal. It was a spa package off of marriott.com. For a little more than $200 a... more

We spent 4 nights at the Camelback over Memorial Day weekend and were pleasantly surprised by the property and, in particular, the service. Rooms: Our room was very spacious and overall OK but nothing spectacular. The room was clean and quite large and included robes, slippers, a flat screen TV (no HDTV though) and a small wet bar area with... more
