Spent one night in Winslow just so we could stay at the La Posada. We booked the cheapest room option - a small, but very comfortable and beautiful room on the second floor. I wouldn't ordinarily advise that anyone even stop at Winslow, but our two-night stay at La Posada was one of the finest that I can recall. I'm a railfan, so I reserved a room on the second floor, facing the tracks. As this is a very busy BNSF mainline joining Chicago and LA, others may opt for a quieter room.... more
