Staying at the 1886 Crescent for our 25th wedding anniversary was an absolutely fabulous experience. It was like taking a trip back in time, yet still enjoying all the modern conveniences like indoor plumbing and electricity, and even wifi. The hotel offers the best of both worlds in our book! The ambiance of the whole ghost theme just made the... more

This was our second stay at the Crescent. After our first stay, my teenage sons and I vowed to make this a yearly (if not biyearly) event. The hotel itself was so charming...made me feel like I had stepped back in time. Our room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Our room was on the 4th floor and... more

Would have loved more signs directing us to the Crescent but we made it. Curb appeal is over the top wonderful. Went in to see if we could get our room a little early (1:15 PM) and elderly man that was at the desk was very rude about it. Said room was not ready and that 3 is the check... more

Ok, here's the deal. It's an old hotel. It has a ghostly reputation. I give it a 5 on my rating because that's what I expected. It's not fresh and new. It's a little bit dank, dark...halls aren't air conditioned, rooms are small, etc. But, if you want to go on a ghost tour and spend the night, it's PERFECT.... more

My 13 year old daughter and I booked 3 nights at the Crescent, at the beginning of June. Based on the photos on the internet, it looked clean, sunny, and bright. When we arrived at the hotel, the first thing we noticed was the smell. It was an antiseptic smell that was worse by the elevator but permeated the entire... more

Although the breakfast in The Crystal Dining Room was amazing, the overall hotel service was mediocre. The staff members attempted to answer our questions however they seemed annoyed that we were even asking questions… they acted bothered or irritated as if we were interrupting them… Maybe they were just busy with paper work or preoccupied… ether way, we were disappointed.... more

Our son recently had a wedding at the Crescent Hotel. He paid for a package that included a jacuzzie suite for two nights. Upon arrival the salesperson that helped him and his fiance had put the wrong dates in the computer so they had no room. When they did finally get a room the jacuzzi tub sprayed the wall, dresser,... more

My husband reserved me and my Mom one night at the Crescent Hotel & Spa for my Mother's Day present. I am a stay at home Mom with a 2 and 3 year old so this was the best present he could have given me. He kept the kids and I had a blast!! I invited one of my best... more

The staff was incredibly friendly. The grounds are beautiful, the room was charming. We came home with pictures of orbs, and ghostly figures, which is amazing and just what we hoped for. It was nice to have a free breakfast, it was quite tasty. The ghost tour was interesting, although it was long. This is no cookie cutter hotel. We... more

The property is lovely, if old, and the view from the Observation Deck is beautiful. I liked the antiques and the ambiance of the original hotel. There were some problems, however. One was lack of confirmation by staff of requests made by email. Once I arrived there, it seemed I was expected to do the jobs of the staff, instead... more
