We did not have a reservation in Boston, and saw the White Hart Hotel near the center of town, stopped and decided to stay. We were glad we did. My husband and I had a very nice room overlooking the river. Paid 95 pounds for the night. Room was spacious, very clean. Bathroom was recently remodeled, clean, and very nice.... more

I frequently stay in Boston on business, but this was the first time staying here as my usual hotel was fully booked. The hotel it self is right in the heart of the town, so very convenient for pubs and shops, and it is right by the river. Finding the parking was difficult, there appears to be no directions on... more

Nice hotel - pity about the two pubs next door. One had loud jazz until eleven. The other had techno pop until midnight. The combination made sleep utterly impossible. And if you're unlucky enough to have a room at the book, you'll have pissed locals arguing, fighting, and throwing up until 2am. I eventually insisted that the night porter call... more

we stayed at the White Hart while visiting my parents in the town. Our room was fine, the furniture modern and nice little touches such as bottled water etc. The shower was powerful and hot. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Re noise - we were at the front of the hotel but we were not over the bar and we... more

Very pleased to stay in one of Bostons most important buildings which had gone to rack and ruin, but is now restored, refurbished and vibrant. Unfailingly courteous staff, great service, tremendous breakfast and above average accommodation. The rooms were well spec'd, above average decor and above average size. One issue was the heating, very very warm and difficult to turn... more

I used to live in Boston many years ago and visit family and friends regularly, usually staying at the Travel Inn as I now have a son. On this occasion me and my girlfirend were kidfree and as there was only 2 of us the White Hart seemed the obvious choice. Now I have used the White Hart before for... more

We then made ourselves comfortable in the... more

This hotel charges 120 pounds a night for an exec room where you have to disconnect other electrical items to plug in the kettle. There was no toilet paper in the room and the telephone did not work and therefore had to go to reception and inform them There were new carpets and all ruffled up causing very severe trip... more

I used to live in Boston many years ago and at that time the White Hart was seen as very upmarket. I took my pregnant wife to see my parents and the only Hotel with some spaces for the weekend was The White Hart. My parants and Friends had said "oh, wonderful, alot of money has been spent refurbishing the... more

This is the first negative review we have received for the White Hart Hotel and I do feel it is somewhat unfair in its description. The building is over 250 years old and will naturally have some cracks and querks. The price of our rooms are in the region of the other establishment that the reveiwer has metioned and it...
