We stayed here for three nights in mid december. I was not very impressed with Ancud. Too many unemployed drunks and bored teenagers laying about. And the smell of urine is everywhere. I and a friend stayed in a twin room, with ensuite, at the hostal for 3 nights in November 2007. It was excellent - stripped wooden floors, clean and tidy rooms, fluffy duvets, stunning view of the bay at Ancud.
