Check in was a breeze, very friendly front desk. The room was definitely non-smoking-not a hint of smoke. Very clean rooms, free internet a plus and the breakfast the next morning was in a very open, clean area. We stayed here on our way to Yosemite based on other reviewers. The room was very large, but it wasn't a real suite. I chose a room with a couch, desk, microwave, refrigerator, and wet bar (so I could have a sink.)
