We were in the cottage and loved it all - but I am not going to wax too lyrical about this exceptionally delightful B+B. It might lead to over-booking booking during the periods I want to get to Los Angeles next . However I will say that the Secret Garden plus Michael, Sylvester and David's relaxed, unintrusive, quiet hosptitality will... more

The Secret Garden is certainly different (in a nice way)! It's like staying at someone's - rather bohemian - house, but the owner keeps out of the way, and just shows up to cook breakfast for you. The garden is delightful (again, a bit bohemian) - a shady oasis with several small sitting areas. We were in a (wedding) party... more

This was my first stay at The Secret Garden and it certainly won't be my last. My wife and I were planning a romantic getaway and since she'd previously stayed at The Secret Garden, she recommended we book the cottage here for the weekend while still have all the amenities of home. This bed and breakfast is cozily amazing, located... more

This was my second stay at The Secret Garden this year and it certainly won't be my last. During this visit I was celebrating my anniversary and it was the first visit to this bed & breakfast for my husband. He was equally as enchanted with this fabulously located and eclectically decorated hideaway as I. Comparable lodging in the area... more

Price upped, eggs and toast and watrered down farmers coffee? Dirty but Very comfortable. Wonderfully light, smells like cats out in garden and inside. Walking distance to chateau marmont and the strip. Surprisingly quite for middle of HW. Should be represented as a motel, not a B&B. Beautiful charming house with tons of old antiques. Maybe if Raymond was still... more

After a long trip through California filled with hotels ranging from horrible to decent, the Secret Garden was a wonderful luxury. Where to begin? The property is gorgeous, with beautiful gardens and an aviary. The location is in a residential neighborhood in close proximity to shops in West Hollywood (walking distance). Parking was never an issue. It was free and... more

my wife and I have stayed at a few B&Bs in the past and this one was equally good yet different. It definately wasn't as clean or as charming or as traditional as the others but that is what made this one unique. It was the only B&B I could find in LA and was in a perfect area just... more

Found this place on the internet and website looked great! WRONG!!!! Not a clean place at all! The bedroom and bathrooms were dusty and dirty and the towels and bed linens had seen better days. Most all of them were very frayed! Cat's on the tables. UGH! Breakfast was okay but not that great. Host was friendly and wild which... more

I was needing a good B and B in the greater Los Angeles area to stay and found this one on the internet. I was not pleased at all. The first thing as I entered my room was the frayed and tattered towels in the bathroom. Disgusting! Even the linens on the bed were frayed. And the bedspread was really... more
