The hotel is very average. Location is pretty good. The hotel is clean. The bed isn't all that comfortable. I prefer to have thicker blankets, more fluffy. But it is okay. An excellent hotel experience. I stay here whenever I'm attending anything at the Convention Center, Staples or the Nokia. It's directly across the street. My husband and I stayed at the Holiday Inn City Center for two nights in late July. The location near the Staples/Convention Center couldn't be better if that's what you need. We are fond of walking and had no problems getting downtown on foot at different times of day and night--not at all threatening. I wouldn't have wandered the area... more

The hotel is the closest to the LA convention center. The room are extremely small and the walls are paper thin...all we did was listen to crying kids all night in the room next door! The room was clean and well stocked. Nice decor more
