You always run into bad hotels, but this one is SAD. Why? Because its a great hotel that is on its way downhill. The grounds and rooms are just awesome. The rooms are clean. Yet, there are signs that poor management must have recently inherited this property and are bent on ruining it. Here were my problems: BED BUGS! I... more

We were pleasantly surprised how family oriented this hotel was. I thought it was a "suits" type of hotel being in the Silicon Valley. Maybe it is M-TH, but on the weekend-it's all about the families. There were so many families there and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. The complimentary breakfast was crazy! (in a good way) Such a... more

Embassy Suites attempts to cater to the business traveler. There are good points, such as the fitness and business centers. The on-site restaurant is so-so. I don't recommend the pizza. They have a good idea in the little courtyard shop. Just be careful not to let your kids go in there. I went in there one time for a snack,... more

The Embassy Suites exceeded our expectations. After visiting the San Jose area (The Winchester Museum - which I recommend) we arrived at dinnertime just in time for complimentary drinks and ou'derves served in the gorgeous garden atrium. Complimentary breakfast is fabulous- made to order, also served in the atrium. We had dinner in the atrium and enjoyed the coi fish... more

My husband had work out in San Jose so my 10 month old son and I tagged along. From the minute we arrived I was disappointed. It was a Saturday Night. About 8pm. I can begin with my disappointments. 1. I asked for a crib and highchair to be in the room (we were arriving late and I wanted to... more

This is a nice Embassy property with surprising infrastructure issues. Lots of money has been spent on a recent renovation, and one would think the following issues would have been addressed as well. During January, when the outdoor temp was in the 40s, it was ice cold in this hotel due to an extended heating system problem. A maintenance person... more

I stayed at the Embassy Suites - Milpitas on January 21-24. The rooms were newly renovated and quite nice. My room was very quiet, clean and comfortable. The staff were all quite friendly especially at the breakfast buffet. The whirlpool was out of order due to the remodeling, but all other amenities appeared to be in working order. more

I was in Milpitas over the weekend to conduct interviews for my work. My suite was clean and comfortable - the upper two floors are most recently renovated and furthest away from any noise rising up from the families and events taking place on the atrium floor. My suite worked well as the living room can be closed off from... more

My wife and I spent a Saturday night at this hotel during a recent visit to Silicon Valley. When we checked in there was a wedding reception in full swing and what appeared to be numerous kid's birthday parties. The wedding reception was quiet and dignifies, the kids on the other hand were outrageous. Screaming at each other in the... more

Stayed for 5 nights on business travel, having stayed there before a few times. The renovations certainly did good for the hotel, the only thing I found missing was a place to hang my towel in the shower. Overall the hotel met all my needs - spacious suite, comfortable bed, nice breakfast. more
