This courtyard will not win any awards, but it does the job. We used points, so we avoided the fair $139 midweek rate. The room was reasonably sized, very clean and well cared for. The lobby has a breakfast place, but we went to a local diner instead. The service was spot on, not a single complaint. The hotel is... more
We were very fortunate to land the Courtyard on our Priceline bid. The check-in process was very efficient and courteous. We found the front desk staff most helpful with driving directions and area maps, restaurant info, etc. After 9 hours of driving, we were pleased to partake of the complimentary wine tasting in the Hotel Lobby, followed by a short... more
I was in Santa Rosa for a conference and stayed at the Courtyard. For a chain hotel catering to business employees I was impressed. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. There was a desk, internet access and sufficient lighting for the business traveler. The hotel is located right next to historic Railroad Square with cafes,... more
when staying at a courtyard marriott, you know what you're getting. Pretty good accomdations, not 5-star, good price, and free parking. All of these ring true in Santa Rosa. Was up in the area pleasure traveling and after a day of wine-tastings, it was nice to come back to something familar. Also, the hotel is within walking distance to restaurants,... more
This was our first stay at a Marriott and we were pleasantly surprised to find it was everything and more than we needed. We are in Santa Rosa for the county fair every year and usually stay at a B&B (which has gotten way too expensive) in the same Railroad District vicinity. The room was small but adequate, had a... more
First, they only have doubles, no queen beds. We booked a king, but somehow they lost the reservation with that detail. The pool is rather dirty. Other Courtyards are offering free breakfast in the summer, this hotel has never heard of it and charges a huge amount for their buffet. You must put your name on a wailtlist for a... more
We stayed at this property because our daughter competed in the Vineman 70.3 Triathlon in late July. We were very fortunate to be able book a room because of the popularity of this race. The property was clean and was staffed by efficient and friendly employees. The bed linens were European style and a much higher quality than I expected.... more
This 2.5 star property was just barely worth the discounted rate I obtained for a friend and myself on Priceline ($100/night on weekend nights: June 29 & 30). The best things about it were the usually-empty pool and jacuzzi; the clean and up-to-date room furnishings; lots of parking; and the price/location ratio in Sonoma Valley. There was free coffee in... more
My brother's girlfriend works for Marriott, so through her we were able to get a great rate on a room at this property while visiting wineries in the Sonoma area. The location is excellent! It is within two blocks of several restaurants, breakfast spots and bars and the main freeway that runs through this area. It is also within a... more
