Room Stayed in a private queen room, was very spacious. Clean bed, room not serviced by maids, but dorms are cleaned daily. Stayed at the bananna bungalow almost 10 yrs ago in its old location - it was awesome and the newer orbit did not disappoint. Ok the dorm rooms are pretty average. I reccommend asking to stay a block down the road in the private rooms if you can- they were budget hotel quality. You can not beat the location Melrose... more

got to LA after a long trip to find the free airport shuttle they state they run is in fact a lie, they basically make you pay for a shuttle they provide then make up a rubbish reason why you had to pay. they also lie about a free breakfast and the place has no atmosphere, it's surrounded by signs... more
