Older travelersHyatt West Hollywood was perfect in everyway. Staff were extremely polite, room was excellent with a beautiful view on the 10th floor. No signs of construction when I stayed there. Perfect location. more
This place was under construction when we stayed and I believe it is still under construction. The interior of the rooms I have to say was pretty gross. I didnt want to take off my socks walking around the room. I didnt think that this hotel was even close to a 3 star hotel. Will never stay here again. more
After reading both positive and negative reviews, I was a little nervous about staying at the West Hollywood Hyatt. I was pleasantly surprised by what a great hotel it turned out to be. I did ask for a room that had been renovated. I was given a newly renovated corner room on the sixth floor overlooking Sunset Blvd. We stayed... more
We were a little worried when we booked through Hotwire and found out we got this hotel - especially after reading the reviews here. I also was really worried because they are undergoing a major renovation. We were traveling with our one year old and big noise and naps don't usually mix. I called the hotel with my concerns and... more
Droped of my car. The valet staff was great. Checked in the hotel, went to my room. Walked in and walked right out. No way was I staying there. I would rather stay at a homeless shelter. Went down to the desk, they canceled my reservation and I stayed at the Marriott in Beverly Hills. The desk staff knows the... more
My collegues and I travelled from NY to LA on the way to Asia for business meetings July 2007. We made a "pit stop" to relax in LA before the long week ahead, boy did we make a mistake by selecting the Hyatt West Hollywood! The $259.00/night they were offering as the "corporate rate" was a waste of my company's... more
My girlfriend and I (both mid-20s) took a trip up to LA for one night and stayed at the Hyatt West Hollywood. The pros: the location is relatively central to many popular nightclubs, restaurants, shops, Hollywood Blvd., etc. But as this is LA, you really do need to drive everywhere, i.e. the Beverly Center (shopping) was only a 5-10 minute... more
Yes, they are renovating but W A I T until it is finished. Call and ask if they have completed the entire reno before you book a room here. I sit in my room now surrounded by the dirtiest carpet, furniture, ceilings, walls and bathroom I have seen in many years on the road. The lobby is finished but you... more
I can overlook the construction but the rooms are pretty old. Curtains/carpets stained. Room was too hot and could not be adjusted. No answer at front desk when we tried to report the room temp problem. Can't open window due to construction. Per Hyatt's website the construction is done between 9-5 M-F. It actually started at 7am right over our... more
We only picked this place because we were producing a show at HOB and have never been in one of these hotels before. First after calling the office front desk three weeks before our arrival and once the day before to confirm, we got there and the reservations were all wrong. Then we get to our rooms. Oh my goodness... more
