Denver is a nice city. Very clean, a nice mix of old an modern. Too bad I can't say the same for this hotel. Annually my husband and I got to Colorado Springs for the Pikes Peak Hill Climb. This year we decided split our vacation and spend four nights in Denver. Because we are Starwood Preferred Guests we always... more

Stayed at the hotel on business for two nights. I was "upgraded" to room 1025 but really the only upgrade that I could see is that the room had a tiny balcony. The room itself was small and the TV was old. The hotel decor is combination medival and lodge with lots of dark dark wood. The pool was adequate,... more

This hotel is very easy to get to, clean, and very helpful staff. The pool area is very nice. The hot tub was ok but could have been hotter. Rooms were clean, but small. Bar was good, food was ok. Better than the Hyatt Tech Center. The Marriot in the Tech Center is better for overall stay, but the Four... more

My husband and I stayed here for a conference. The hotel is located in a convient area right off interstate I-25. The hotel lobby was nice and had a rustic feel with a large stone fireplace and free internet/computer access. It also had an indoor and outdoor pool and hot tub. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room... more

I was on a business trip and had a very important presentation to give the next day. I asked the man at the front desk if the room he was assigning was quite so I could get some rest..and as well I informed him I was a light sleeper. I went to dinner and returned at 10:30. The first room... more

Someone wrote that the exercise room is filthy; they're right. About 15 years ago I could see how this hotel could have been a REALLY nice place to stay, but there is some wear and tear. For example, the old cold-metal-damp windows in the hotel rooms. In addition, my room was on the 9th floor looking out to the Denver... more

We got a room on the top floor, the "Preferred Member" floor, near the noisy elevator. And if anyone is uncomfortable in elevators, beware of these; at every floor there was a big clunk sound. The room faced south and would have been a nice view if the window was clean. There is no wireless connection, and the cables they... more

When we checked in I asked for a room with a that wasn't anywhere close to the elevator. Much to our surprise, our room #701 was right next to the elevator. I went to call the front desk, but the phone did not work. I then went back down to the front desk and asked for a different room. They... more

Stayed here with discounted rate of $75/night for the Great American Beer Festival 2007. The hotel is very nice, but certainly not luxury, but at $75/night it's a fine bargain. Room was decently appointed and not yet begging for a rennovation. The internet access was free and was via a cable(not WiFi). Spare network cable is in the closet. Bed... more

Walked in under less than happy circumstances, (someone in the local hospital) and was very pleased with the place. While yes, it is aging somewhat and breakfast buffet is way too expensive ($15) the staff was so kind and so helpful, I'd stay there again. My rooms beds were very comfortable, everything was clean and in order, shower was fine,... more
