Our family members have been staying at the Casa Loma since 1992.. This past visit will be our last! The desk staff was rude, rooms are run down and dirty. We stayed at THE CASA LOMA during WILMA last year, we have never been thru A hurricane before, and we were scared to death. We stayed for five days to visit family. While the furnishings were somewhat outdated, everything was neat and clean. Housekeeping cleaned our room daily and I had one request the first day we were there that was addressed immediately. Service was dreadful. Rooms did not even get cleaned on some days. Staff was rude and unhelpful about the area or amenities. Rooms are outdated; highway noise is very loud. Even with confirmed reservations, check in and check out took 30-45 minutes. We went in with 2-star expectations, but this motel doesn't even get 1 star in our book. more
