Like most Comfort Inns I've stayed at, my experience at the Key West location was average. On the upside, the room was clean and spacious, and the continental breakfast was above average. On the downside, the Internet did not work (and the front desk person did not speak good enough English to help), there was no elevator for second floor... more

We stayed at the Comfort Inn for a long weekend. We were pleased with the accommodations. It is not a luxury hotel by any means, but it was clean and comfortable. The pool is beautiful, and the breakfast was above average for a free continental breakfast. Location was fine. We had a rental car, and had no difficulty getting anywhere... more

We stayed at comfort inn key west on points as well. I do not understand what previous people are complaining about. The hotel was very clean and the staff were more than helpfull. The room was pool view 1st floor. It was large clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows were just fine. The free breakfast was also quite enjoyable.... more

I used my frequent stay points with Choice Hotels so I didn't pay any cash for the room. This is the only Choice Hotel property at Key West, and it was OK, but if I was paying I'd stay elsewhere. Stayed at the Comfort Inn Key West the first week of November. It's a moderately rated property so I don't know why people expect the red carpet treatment. The hotel is older but then again, most hotels within the Choice Hotel chain are. The price was around $110.00/night plus tax which I thought was reasonable considering all the other hotels... more

I laughed when we pulled into the parking lot, as their marquee sign said "stay here, make your own waffles" -- what kind of a selling point is that? Very clean. The Comfort Inn is getting a little old, but the warmth of the staff certainly made up for any issues I saw.
